Requirements
Section titled “Requirements”Android 8.0 or later and an ARM64 device.
Start the engine
Section titled “Start the engine”If you see Download engine disabled, tap Start engine. Grant local network permission when prompted by the system.
Add a transfer
Section titled “Add a transfer”- Magnet: choose the option to add a torrent, paste the link and confirm.
- File
.torrent: import it from the app or open it with ATorrent in the Android file picker.
Magnet links need to retrieve metadata before displaying the transfer name and files.
View and manage
Section titled “View and manage”The list shows name, status, progress and speed. Use the filters to find your transfers.
Select Pause or Resume to control a download. Progress is preserved between sessions.
When using Remove, you can choose whether to delete the downloaded files as well. Review the dialogue before confirming.
Background activity
Section titled “Background activity”A transfer service allows downloads to continue and displays a progress notification. Android may apply battery and network restrictions.
Downloads are saved in app storage. Downloads and transfer state are excluded from Android backups; keep a copy of files you need.
